I can’t believe that it is October already and I am writing about a winter look; where has this year gone?!

So my October has been a little different from everyone else’s because I’ve been practising wedding looks instead of Halloween looks for my cousin’s wedding. Her big day was earlier this week and the colour scheme was navy, so I’d been playing around with different eyeshadow colours to match for weeks before settling on the classic silver and grey smokey eye.

Besides, I was wearing silver shoes and accessories so it made sense!

If you’ve read my previous blog post Sparkly Smokey Eye, you’ll know that I really am an amateur with eyeshadow, but I find that Makeup Revolution’s eyeshadow palettes are easy to use, cheap and look good!

Whilst the eyeshadow palette I used in the post linked above helped me achieve a gorgeous smokey eye, I had to use another colour for the outer corners as it didn’t feature any matte colours. The palette I used in this post however was great as it had an equal mix of shimmers, glitters and mattes.
